We made fondant cutouts of Kitty and her signature bow (not pictured) to use as toppers, and the cakes were a big hit (with the birthday party goers … and with us).

Have something in mind you’d like to see on a cupcake? We love to do custom cupcake orders. Super Mario Brothers? Transformers? My Little Pony? Bring it on. Just give us about a week’s notice and we’ll get to work.

A note on our decor style: Though we can (and have) done very elaborate fondant modeling work, we prefer to keep our designs clean and simple (like Kitty on the Hello Kitty cupcakes) so as not to overwhelm the little cakes with too much sugary stuff. Plus, fondant doesn’t taste great, so we like to keep it to a minimum. We are working on a menu of cupcake decorations that customers can choose from that will suit various occasions. Until then, we’re happy to create a design especially for you and your event.

Our signature buttercream frostings are the result of countless hours of recipe testing, tasting and tweaking. After spending most of our lives scraping off the too-sweet frosting that usually tops cupcakes, we have created our original signature buttercream frosting that is creamy, rich and packed with real vanilla flavor, but that won’t you send you into sugar shock. We promise.

Circumstances were so outside of my control that even the love of cupcakes couldn’t change them! But we are open now, and in full force! We have longer hours (we’re open from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday), more flavors (we’ve added three extra flavors to the daily rotation for a grand total of nine flavors every day, and that’s not even counting specials) and super cool new t-shirts (we’re excited about the shirts).

Come in, have a cup of coffee on us and treat yourself with one (or two of four or twelve) of our indulgent little cakes.
